I have the honour to write to you on behalf of the governing Council of the Institution of Chemical Engineers to invite you to become an Honorary Fellow of the Institution, in recognition of your substantial contribution to chemical engineering education in China and for your contribution to leading edge research in biochemical engineering.
Honorary Fellowship is the senior award of our Institution, which is incorporated by Royal Charter in the United Kingdom, and, under the phraseology of our By-Laws, “an Honorary Fellow will usually be a distinguished person who the Institution especially desires to honour”. Recent elections to Honorary Fellowship are listed on the attached.
I look forward to hearing from you that you will take up this award and join the roll of honour as an IChemE Honorary Fellow.
If possible, we would suggest that a presentation ceremony is held during the opening day of the World Congress of Chemical Engineering in Glasgow on Monday 11 July, with a special dinner in your honour to be held after the Chairman’s Reception that evening.
